Hawzah News Agency- coinciding with the arrival of the holy month of Muharram, the gathering — held under the theme "Welcoming Muharram and Commemorating Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi (RA)" — brought together a broad spectrum of clerics, students, missionaries, and members of the public. The spiritual and academic conference placed emphasis on elucidating the message of Ashura, honoring the enduring services of Ayatollah Mohsin Najafi (RA), and renewing allegiance to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the guidelines of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
The event served not only as an occasion to commemorate the scholarly stature and lasting contributions of Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi (RA), but also as a valuable opportunity to welcome the month of Muharram and to renew the covenant with the aspirations of the Ashura uprising and the Hussaini culture.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of scholars, Friday prayer and congregational prayer leaders, preachers, eulogists, orators, and prominent cultural and social figures. In their addresses, speakers elaborated on the various dimensions of Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi's (RA) scholarly, religious, cultural, and social personality, shedding light on his historic role in establishing academic and religious institutions, training seminary students and missionaries, spreading the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (PBUT), and rendering extensive social services.
The scholars in attendance stressed that the fruits of the sincere and enduring services of this eminent scholar are today manifest in the form of hundreds of religious scholars, learned figures, and religious institutions across various regions, and that the religious community continues to benefit from the blessings of his efforts.
Another segment of the conference was dedicated to "Welcoming the Holy Month of Muharram." Speakers in this part of the program expounded on the philosophy of the Ashura uprising, the significance of enjoining good and forbidding evil, the status of mourning for the Master of Martyrs (PBUH), and the necessity of keeping the Hussaini (PBUH) message alive in the present age, while underlining the religious and social responsibility of Muslims to safeguard the values of Ashura.
The ceremony also featured the presentation of selected articles on the personality and services of Ayatollah Mohsin Najafi (RA), with a group of seminary students who have memorized the Holy Quran adding to the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering through the performance of religious hymns and Quranic recitations.
At the conclusion of the conference, participants underscored the importance of unity among scholars, the promotion of the Ashura culture, and the continuation of the path of pious and Godly scholars, reaffirming once again their commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and their adherence to the guidelines of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
